Meditation Quote 49: “Doing nothing is better than being busy doing nothing.” – Lao Tzu

When caught up in the stress of everyday life, it is easy to end up with a feeling of having done almost nothing productive for a long while – even though you know you kept busy throughout. Allowing yourself to “do nothing” can be just the medicine you need to prevent this from ever happening again.

When meditating, and “doing nothing” (or at the most only focusing on a single thing to keep distractions away) we allow ourselves to stress down, lower our blood pressure, increase our ability to concentrate, and more.

Reward yourself by meditating daily and you will experience an increased ability to stress less in your everyday life, which also makes it easier to get more done.

Doesn’t it sound great? Do less, and get more done!

“Doing nothing is better than being busy doing nothing.”
