Now this quote makes me smile, both because of it’s simple truth and because of it’s play on the commonly used phrase “don’t just sit there, do something”. Why don’t we sit down (pun intended), and admire this quote together?
It’s very often hard NOT to do something these days.
Whether it’s a task at work, homework from school, an errand to run, something to fix, or something else to worry about – taking time to just “sit there” does not often get prioritized.
This quote can act as a reminder for us to make space for ourselves as well, and sit down to meditate and relax. Even if it means putting down the smartphone, or waiting with that stressful task just 10 minutes – to MAKE time.
Hope this quote can be of help – I sure loved it!
“Don’t just do something, sit there.”
