We often find ourselves in a state of rush, stress and worry. Worrying about the future, regretting the past, and hurrying along to complete the next task.
And alas, the moments pass by without us noticing.
Days becomes weeks, weeks become months, months become years – all without taking some time to pay attention to the present moment.
This description does not apply to everyone of us of course, and not always so “black and white” and gloomy.
But I am sure we can all relate to it somehow, and wish we were more present in each moment – able to enjoy life for what it is.
I find this quote by Dan Millman to be a beautiful reminder or what’s important in life.
And as it’s my birthday to day (yep, really!), I have one single wish:
That YOU make a commitment to meditate on the moment. Just once, and see where takes you…
This talk by Eckhart Tolle, on the very topic of meditating on the moment, might help and inspire you further.
So make my birthday wish come true, spend some time meditating on the moment, and maybe increase the quality of your life!
“Life is a series of moments. The quality of attention and action that we bring to each moment determines the quality of our lives.”
– Dan Millman
