Meditation Quote 39: “True meditation has no direction or goal. It is pure wordless surrender, pure silent prayer.” – Adyashanti

Meditation has a multitude of facets, with varying goals and as many possible ways to the goal as there are people in the world. Yet many meditation “gurus” and teachers profess that meditation at it’s core is all about not setting goals or strict guidelines.

As a beginner it is important to do meditation “by the rules”, and build up a regular and fixed meditation practice to master.

Yet most meditators reach thresholds, struggles, or milestone, where some guidance and answers are very welcomed.

In those times it’s good with quotes like this one.

Try it for yourself – throw out the goals and directions, and just meditate!

“True meditation has no direction or goal. It is pure wordless surrender, pure silent prayer.”
– Adyashanti
